Theatre Plays

Theatre is a great way to explore the themes in literature. The emotion in the human soul is depicted through dialogue and action, bringing the story and plot to life. A careful and calculated play has elements of both mystery and also depth. It is a layered composition that allows the audience to relate to the complexity or simplicity of the characters.

Acting and Choreography

Emily Isaacson acted in two musicals in her childhood, 'Rhythm Through the Ages', and 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' (Zebulun).

What our reviewers are saying

Having just discovered Emily Isaacson’s work, I can truthfully say I am now a fan for life! Emily is a wordsmith who captures emotion with her pen as an artist captures colour with her brush. Her poems stirred my heart and caused me to stop and ponder. And isn’t that what poetry should do . . .

Lianna Klassen   Singer, Songwriter

"Emily's poetry is as popular as Purdys Chocolatier - Sweet Georgia Browns."

New title Arsenic highlights 58 distressed sonnets by Canadian poet Emily Isaacson. The publication of these early works detail her emergence as a writer of sonnets, a distinct and strict templative form. Her own genius adds to their complexity as she deviates from form on occasion to produce a reward to the eye and ear. Her sonnets are a practiced voice of the new millennium, with much to glean from.

A Hallmark on the Life of a Chosen Friend

In the commemorative edition released in 2017, we showcase the select poetry of Canadian poet Emily Isaacson, from her simple pieces to the epic. This work surrounds the guillotine of the recession that influenced Canadians during Covid. It is evident her readers have only begun to taste her nuances, wording, and poetic structure, including her own invention “the eclipsed poem.” Her dedicated voice has spoken in poetry to royals, cloisters, people groups, and nations.
